HOTEL GIORGIONE, Venice – A Smart Stay in the City

My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The room, although a bit warm, was comfortable for our family of four as it was spacious and split across two levels. The service was very accommodating, although they couldn't assist with a room change. The location was great for exploring Venice, offering easy access to local restaurants and attractions. The breakfast, with a wide variety including gluten-free options, was enjoyable every day. The facilities, while lacking some maintenance, added to the relaxed atmosphere of the place.

Staying at this hotel was a charming experience with a wonderful little terrace on the roof providing a lovely view. The rooms were clean, very nice, and exquisitely 'Venice style,' but on the small side compared to other hotels. The service, especially Cristina on hotel concierge, was top-notch with helpful and friendly staff welcoming us like family. The location was fantastic, just a short stroll to key places, excellent local restaurants, and easy access to various islands. However, the dining experience had some hiccups like missing breakfast in the garden early in the morning and thin walls not providing much privacy. Overall, a delightful stay with minor room size limitations and dining inconveniences.

The hotel had newly renovated rooms, ideal for a family with children, featuring a double room with a living space. Despite the lack of internet connection, the rooms were comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated in Venetian style. However, cleanliness could have been better with some hairs found in the bathroom and on the headboard.

The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Venice, especially convenient for arriving with no bridge crossings necessary, just steps away from the water ferry. The rooms were a bit old and not as clean as expected initially, but the newer bathroom was a pleasant surprise. The service was generally friendly, though we encountered some rudeness from specific staff members. The dining experience was average with some tasty pastries, and the location in Cannaregio was close to major attractions and just outside the busiest tourist areas. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.

The hotel rooms were lovely, spacious, and clean, decorated in typical Venetian style. However, they lacked some amenities and were a bit cold for my liking. The service here was extremely helpful and attentive, especially Mauro who went above and beyond for us. The location was perfect for exploring Venice, making it easy to access with luggage and strollers. The dining experience was okay but not up to a 4-star standard. The facilities offered a relaxed atmosphere with a few restrictions in the garden and pool area.
